It only makes sense that a commercial planter will work just as well for you as it will for the larger hotels and resorts.

Before spending a minimum of $100 for a single planter, there are a few things you need to take into consideration. Here are a few simple guidelines you can use to help determine which type of commercial planter will work best for your situation. Using these guidelines will help you save money and avoid disastrous choices.

• Size. This is one situation where size definitely matters. When looking at the type of commercial planter that you may want, keep in mind that they are going to be very large. Keep in mind the size of your yard, the size of your home, and the size of the planter. You want everything to be in proper proportion and have everything seem balanced. You do not want any one element to overpower any of the other elements, as this could lead to a disharmonious appearance in your landscape design.

• Drainage. No matter what kind of planter you choose, make sure that it has proper drainage. Proper drainage will allow the planter to drain the water put into it. Without proper drainage, the planter will retain all of the water and you will end up with root rot, which is a great way to kill plants.
• All-season. Most of your planters will be outdoors, so make sure you choose ones that are made form materials that can withstand the weather. The simplest way to do this is to see if it is all-weather rated or not.
